Our Story

About PCA Park‑N‑Fly

PCA Park‑N‑Fly is the off‑airport parking brand of Parking Company of America, a family‑owned parking and transportation company that has served travelers, cities, and property owners since 1964. When you park with us, you're parking with people who have spent more than six decades learning what it takes to get you to the terminal quickly, keep your vehicle secure, and treat you well from the moment you pull in.

Our Roots: Parking Company of America

Parking Company of America was founded by the Chaves family in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1964. What began as a local operation grew, city by city, into a national company, now headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri, with regional offices in Los Angeles, Dallas, Albuquerque, Denver, Atlanta, St. Louis, and Chicago. Today PCA manages parking, valet, shuttle, and transportation services in 18 states and 38 cities for airports, municipalities, hospitals, hotels, universities, stadiums, and commercial properties. Through all of that growth, PCA has remained privately held and family‑led, run by the same standards it started with: take care of the customer, take care of the property, and stand behind your word.

Pioneers in Off‑Airport Parking: Parking Company of America Airports

In 1997, the Chaves family founded Parking Company of America Airports (PCAA) to bring PCA's operating discipline to airport travelers. Working alongside Macquarie's infrastructure funds, the family built PCAA over the next decade into a network of more than 30 facilities at major airports across the country, operating under brands frequent flyers came to know well: Peachy Airport Parking, FastTrack Airport Parking, AviStar Airport Parking, SkyPark Airport Parking, and PCA Airport Parking. By the time the family sold its interest to Macquarie in 2007, PCAA was one of the largest off‑airport parking operators in the nation, generating a record $70 million in annual revenue and helping to shape the fast, reliable, shuttle‑driven experience travelers now expect from off‑airport parking.

A Family Legacy in the Industry

Few families have left a deeper mark on American parking than the Chaves family. Over more than sixty years, they have built and operated facilities from coast to coast, launched and grown some of the industry's best‑known airport parking brands, and stayed hands‑on in the business through every era of change. That involvement extends well beyond PCA's own operations: PCA's leadership serves as a trustee of the National Parking Association, contributes to the "Ask the Experts" columns of both the National Parking Association and the International Parking & Mobility Institute, and holds board and committee roles with parking, transportation, and economic development organizations across the country. Today the company is led by President & CEO Richard Chaves Jr., continuing the family's tradition of leading from the front.

Leading the Way

PCA Park‑N‑Fly carries that off‑airport legacy forward under the PCA name. Every location is built around the basics we have never stopped believing in: a clean, well‑lit, secure place to leave your vehicle; a fast, frequent shuttle to your terminal; and a team that treats you like a guest. Same family. Same standards. Leading the Way since 1964.
